QT’s Rebuild Program uses only genuine IMT parts to replace the components most often responsible for downtime-related failures including: wiring harness, hose assembly, solenoid coils, pendant control, winch line and much more.

Before the QT Makeover

This service truck has seen several years of abuse. After QT completes a refurbishment, it will go back to work for several years...at much less than the cost of new.

The units are rebuilt by IMT factory trained technicians at our Columbus branch. All equipment is thoroughly tested and all repairs are documented before the unit is returned to service.
Rebuild Process:
Inspection and Evaluation: A detailed rebuild plan will be completed with before pictures, timeline and hard quote for all recommended work.
Tear Down: Equipment is removed from the chassis and completely disassembled. All original parts will be inspected and measured against reusability guidelines.
Body: Entire body including the inside of the cabinets is prepared and repainted with 2 coats of high quality automotive enamel.
Crane, Compressor, Outriggers: All cylinders and valve bank are rebuilt and many new components are installed including: wiring harness, turntable bearings and bushings, winch line and safety latch. Everything is returned to like-new specifications.
Final Assembly, Inspection, Documentation: The crane, compressor and outriggers must pass rigorous tests for performance, stability and safety. A detailed final report will include pictures, test results, VIN and Serial Numbers, a detailed description of all repairs and upgrades and warranty information.
