The New Dodge 5500

In addition to the straight frame design of the new 5500, Dodge has added some surprises to their cab and chassis that helps set it apart from its competitors. 

Here are a couple highlights:

• Braking system - With the largest rotors in its class, and a standard exhaust break, this system gives a driver better stopping control and provides longer break life.

• 52-gallon fuel tank - This is the largest fuel tank in this class, giving you more time on the job and less time looking for a place to fill up.

• 6-speed automatic transmission - The AISIN transmission has a lower first gear than its competitors along with two overdrive gears which help provide this truck with better control and excellent fuel economy.
