Spring is really here, we are in full production and clearing things out. As you will see on the top of the web site we are doing some spring cleaning and you guy’s get the benefits of what we are cleaning out of the garage and setting to the curb. We have put a deal together with Peterbilt that I believe gives you the customer the best pricing available on the 335 Pete Chassis when you put IMT equipment on the back. The spec’s for the chassis are on the web and they are a complete cab and chassis with a ton of the things our customers are always asking for, for example they all have air ride cab, tilt and telescopic wheel, and power right side window. These are just a few of the “standard” items on our chassis.
May 21st is LOT FAIR this year and if you remember this is a once a year open house and a show & tell for all of our employees. In years past Diane and Debbie have decorated a Christmas tree in November and donated it to a sale for the Children’s Hospital here in Akron. This year they decided to get involved with the hospital’s large 3 day Radio-thon that happens in February and they where quite successful at raising money to donate. I say all that to tell you this, On May 21st of this year we are having a “Dunk the Owner” tank set up and I will be in the tank from 11:30 till 12:30, or until the line quits, with all proceeds going to Akron Children’s Hospital. I am not sure what the cost for the opportunity to dunk the owner is but I am sure it is not enough.
It is going to be a great year this year; we have an exciting time a head of us with some things on the horizon that will impact our industry. We are going to let you know as soon as we can on everything coming down the pipe. As someone said “Opportunities are never lost, they are just passed on to the next person”. We are also happy to welcome the folks from West Virginia to our family. We are glad to be able to service the area and will continue to keep you informed as people and places change in your area.
